All of our teachers are nationally registered Music Together® teachers. They are passionate about music and the development of children.

We strive to create a fun, informal, social setting that spurs engagement and supports each child's musical development.

Rosemary Halloran


Rosemary Halloran is the Director and Founder of  Music Together Around the Towns. She has degrees in music from Smith College, SUNY StonyBrook as well as a Postgraduate Certificate from the Manhattan School.  In 2003, Rosemary was  awarded  Music Together Certification I status for outstanding teaching . This is her 16th year teaching Music Together! Rosemary lives in Andover with her 2 almost grown children and her patient husband, as well as with 3 mischievous cats. She is an avid gardener and an active  fundraiser and advocate for music education. And , as her students know, she is a strong advocate for eating a good breakfast!

Michelle Manzi-Grasso

Michelle Grasso is the lap of choice in her Music Together Classes. We welcome her back from her extended maternity leave!!Michelle  loves children and really enjoys working with the very young. Although she has taught Music K-8, as well music at the college level, she has found teaching Music Together the most fun and challenging! Michelle holds a BA in music from the University of New Hampshire and a Masters of Music from the University of Arizona. She has performed with the Surry Opera Company and the Leningrad People's Opera Company. She has been an invited soloist at the WCRB Summer Concert Series at the Hatch Shell in Boston. Michelle continues to perform lots of grown up music, but is very partial to "Trot Old Joe".

Lauren Sprague

After teaching general music for the Haverhill public schools for the last four years, Lauren Sprague is overjoyed to be returning to Music Together Around the Towns at our brand new Methuen location. A Connecticut native and Summa Cum Laude graduate of Boston University School of Fine Arts, Lauren Sprague has been teaching music and drama to students of all ages throughout the state for the last 14 years. Lauren is a registered Music Together teacher, completing the training with co-founder Lili Levinowitz. In addition to Music Together, Lauren  serves as a cantor, soprano soloist, and director of the children’s choir at Holy Family Parish in Concord MA.  A composer and playwright, Lauren also enjoys playing the guitar and piano, collecting instruments from around the world and most importantly being a mom to Maggie, age 11 and Sean, age 6. Lauren is really looking forward to making music together with you this session! 

Leslie Boloian

Leslie Boloian is an Early Childhood Music Specialist and Preschool Music Education Consultant in the Andover community. She grew up surrounded by music, performing in musical theater in her school days and is a singer songwriter alongside her musician husband and school age daughter. With her extensive early childhood background, she currently runs the music program at Andover Country Day School and the Kathy Herward Preschool in Andover, MA. She is a nationally registered Music Together teacher trained by the Center of Music and Young Children in Princeton, NJ and is a certified Early Childhood teacher by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She also holds a Bachelors degree in Developmental Disabilities, and has completed post graduate work in Music Education.

Leslie comes to class with her infectious energy and guitar in hand ready to play, sing and dance! She loves working with young children and their parents and is passionate about early childhood music development. She is also a Reiki Master working with and supporting new and expecting mothers in the Andover area.

Kathy Dalton

A life-long singer and actor, Kathy Dalton has degrees from Swarthmore College and the University of Pennsylvania in Psychology and Early Childhood Literacy. While at Swarthmore, she studied vocal performance and sang with the Swarthmore Choir. As a Kindergarten-2nd grade teacher, she focused on music to create a supportive environment for learning and early literacy. She was "the singing lady"!

For the past 15 years, Kathy has been working with community theater groups and schools to teach drama and encourage music development. In Vermont, she developed and taught an early childhood musical morning program for parents and children. In Andover, she developed and taught a theater games program at West Elementary School. She co-directed SHOWKIDZ, a children's theater camp, for the Colonial Chorus Players in Reading and also directed a children's theater program at the Burlington Players ). She has also produced shows for Merrimack Junior Theatre. Her goal is for every child to experience the delight of singing and performing.

Her passion outside the classroom is musical theater. Kathy performs with many local community theater groups including the Quannipowett Players, Arlington Friends of the Drama, the Vokes Theatre, ACME Theatre, and Hovey Players. Her most recent productions include "Sunday in the Park with George at Vokes Theatre and "Side by Side by Sondheim" at Arlington Friends of the Drama. An avid reader of plays and scoress, Kathy enjoys serving on play selection committees for local theater groups.

The Music Together program is a perfect way for Kathy to incorporate both her love of music and commitment to early childhood development. It is a privilege to share in these early musical moments with families. Kathy lives in Andover and Gloucester with her husband and two children.
