Music Together Around the Towns
Music Together is an internationally recognized early childhood music program for infants,
toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, and the adults who love them. First offered to the public in 1987,
it pioneered the concept
of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement. Music Together classes are based on the recognition that all children are musical.
Our Teachers

All of our teachers are nationally registered Music Together® teachers. They are passionate about music and the development of children.

We strive to create a fun, informal, social setting that spurs engagement and supports each child's musical development.

Rosemary Halloran

Rosemary is the Director and primary teacher for Music Together Around the Towns. She started as a Music Together parent bringing her  children to class to learn a few non-classical children songs!. Rosemary loved Music Together's  informal, playful philosophy and discovered that this type of 'play'  was how  she developed her own love of music.

Rosemary has  degrees in music from Smith College, SUNY Stony Brook, and has done postgraduate work at the Manhattan School of Music. Her formal musical performance was in  operas, oratorios. She is a regular church soloist with  special interest in the works of J.S.Bach. (The Coffee Cantata anyone??!!)

Rosemary was awarded  Music Together Certification I status for outstnding teaching in 2003. This is her 10th year teaching Music Together! Rosemary lives in Andover with her 2 children, her patient husband, and 3 mischievous cats. And, as her students know, she is a strong advocate for eating a good breakfast!

Michelle Manzi-Grasso

Michelle is the lap of choice in her Music Together Classes. She loves children and really enjoys working with the very young. Although she has taught Music K-8, as well music at the college level, she has found teaching Music Together the most fun and challenging! Michelle holds a BA in music from the University of New Hampshire and a Masters of Music from the University of Arizona. She has performed with the Surry Opera Company and the Leningrad People's Opera Company. She has been an invited soloist at the WCRB Summer Concert Series at the Hatch Shell in Boston the past two years. Michelle continues to perform lots of grown up music, but is very partial to "Trot Old Joe".

Kasia Sokalla

Kasia is an accomplished classical, jazz and gospel singer. She graduated from Berklee College of music and attended Boston University for Graduate work in music. Her Boston area credits include performances with the Kairos Vocal ensemble, Moodswings on the Northshore, and numerous musical theater productions. Her latest musical achievement has been singing to her two year old daughter and newborn at Music Together! You can check out her website at www.kasiamusic.com
